What this page does and does not tell you

Core service is a live query against the database that runs your account, timed on the spot. Email, card payments and signups report whether they are switched on and correctly configured — we deliberately do not send a test email or call Stripe every time someone loads this page, because a status page that generates load is a status page that gets turned off.
